Add or delete PDF pages

With our free and easy-to-use tool, you can remove PDF pages for free and also add new pages and get a new file with the pages you need only. Click on pages to remove from the document or expand it to add a new page into the file. To add a page, click the Insert pages icon and then click a + button wherever you want to insert a file.

Your file is processed inside this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Click Apply changes to build the new PDF and download it. Undo is available right up until then.

About the Add or Delete Pages tool

Most PDFs arrive with pages nobody needs — a blank separator from the scanner, a duplicated cover, an appendix that belongs in a different file. This tool lays every page out as a thumbnail so you can see what you are removing before you remove it, and it lets you insert blank pages and drag pages into a new order in the same pass.

Nothing is written until you click Apply changes. Until then you are editing a plan of the document, which is why undo works on every action and why deleting a page never touches your original file.

Frequently asked questions

Can I delete several pages at once?+

Yes. Click each page you want gone — selected pages get a coloured outline — then use Delete selected. You can also select all and deselect the few you want to keep.

What size are the blank pages I insert?+

By default a blank page matches the page it is inserted after, so it fits the document. You can switch to A4, US Letter or US Legal instead.

Can I reorder pages as well as delete them?+

Yes. Drag any thumbnail to a new position. Deleting, adding, rotating and reordering are all applied together when you click Apply changes.

Is there an undo?+

Yes. Every action can be undone, and nothing is written to a new PDF until you apply the changes, so your original file is never modified.

Does this change the quality of the pages I keep?+

No. Kept pages are copied across untouched — same fonts, same images, same resolution. Only the page list changes.
