About the Split PDF tool
Splitting a PDF lets you pull a chapter out of a report, separate a batch of scanned receipts into individual files, or cut a long document into equal chunks that are easy to email. WrongPDF gives you four ways to do it and produces every resulting file locally in your browser.
When a split produces more than one document you can download them one at a time or grab everything at once as a ZIP archive. Page numbering, orientation and page size are preserved exactly as they were in the source file.
Frequently asked questions
Can I extract a single page from a PDF?+
Yes. Use the extract mode and enter that page number — for example 5 — to get a one-page PDF containing just it.
What page range formats are supported?+
Comma-separated numbers and ranges: 1-3, 7, 10-12. An open-ended range like 9- means page 9 to the end of the document.
How do I get all the split files at once?+
When a split produces multiple documents, a Download all as ZIP button appears alongside the individual downloads.
Does splitting reduce quality?+
No. Pages are copied as-is into the new documents. Text stays selectable and images are not re-encoded.
Is there a page limit?+
No. Because the work happens on your own device rather than a shared server, there is no per-task page or file size cap.
