Does the formatting really carry through to the PDF?+
Yes. Headings, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, colours, highlighting, superscript and subscript, lists, quotes, code blocks, tables, images and links are all drawn into the PDF as real content — not a screenshot of the editor. Links become clickable PDF link annotations.
Which fonts can I use?+
Ten: Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New, plus Roboto, Open Sans, Lato, Montserrat, Lora, EB Garamond and Source Code Pro. The first three are built into every PDF reader, so nothing is embedded for them and the file stays as small as it can be. The rest are written into the PDF itself — only the characters you actually used — so the page looks the same on a machine that has never seen the font.
Can I control where a new page starts?+
Yes. Insert → Page break forces everything after it onto a fresh page. Otherwise pages break automatically between lines, and headings are kept with the text that follows them.
Can I convert text in other languages?+
Latin-alphabet languages work in every font, accents and typographic punctuation included. Arial, Times New Roman and Courier New stop there, but the embedded fonts go further: Roboto, Open Sans, EB Garamond and Source Code Pro cover Greek, Cyrillic and Vietnamese, and Lora and Montserrat cover Cyrillic and Vietnamese. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and emoji aren't in any of them — those characters are replaced with a "?" and you get a warning listing exactly which ones.
Is the text in the PDF selectable?+
Yes. It is written as real text, not an image, so it can be selected, copied and searched in any reader.
How large a file can I convert?+
There's no fixed limit. Conversion happens on your device, so the ceiling is your own memory — documents of hundreds of pages are fine.
